No not really (lol), but growing up I was a HUGE wrestling fan. The guys I "loved to hate" made it the most fun. Guys like Ravishing Rick Rude, Earthquake, Million Dollar Man, Iron Sheik, the Bolsheviks (am I dating myself..lol)
But the one for me who topped them all (except Hulk Hogan of course) was the Nature Boy himself, Ric Flair! Ric Flair, one of the greatest pro wrestlers of all time, and member of the Four Horsemen, was my most hated "heel". He didn't really have the best moves, but man could that dude "talk". He was one of the greatest talkers of all time. His "feud" with Sting in WCW was epic. I loved to hate this guy! So much so that I wanted to fight him myself (as a kid I didnt realize wrestling was acting lol). So I had wrestling toys and I would stage matches and do just that, beat up Ric Flair.
It wasnt until I got older that I realized Ric had one of the greatest lines of all time, "If ya wanna be the man, ya gotta BEAT the man". I mean that's classic wrestling "talk" right there! But then I began relating that to sports and business. If you wanna be the champion, you have to beat the champion. If you want to be the number one bar, restaurant, or plumber, you have to beat the other "guys" prices, services, value, etc...
So by this point your saying "what does this have to do with my Network Marketing business?" Well read on...
However in Network Marketing, trying to "beat the man" doesn't work and will kill your business! Many reps are out here trying to find ways to beat "the man" or top earners by trying to outsmart him or her. Here's what I mean, when I first started in network marketing, I came up with all kinds of (what I thought) to be clever ways to market my business. I mean it ranged from setting up an actual store with computer kiosks setup to sell my products to setting up kiosks in the mall. No top producers were doing this by the way. None had physical stores, none had mall kiosks, none paid for people to get in their opportunity, etc...They simply and consistently worked the numbers..
What I learned eventually was this, to be the man, ya gotta DUPLICATE the man! That's right, not beat, outsmart, or out think. Duplication is KEY, and if you can teach your team to duplicate YOU (as you're duplicating the "man"), then they help the people they train to become trainers themselves (train the trainer as a top producer once taught me), MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF MONEY CAN BE MADE!!! THIS is how top earners can be sitting on a beach, sipping lemonade, and make more in a week than many people make in a year, WITHOUT punching a clock! DUPLICATION!!!
Once I learned this ONE KEY THING, my WHOLE BUSINESS changed. I then began getting my hands on every kind of training from the top earners as possible. I literally have accumulated thousands of dollars (the first number is not a '1' either) worth of training materials in the past year which has taken my business to the next level.
These trainings have gotten me to where I am today, after my first year of NO ONE joining my opportunity and very few customers, and chasing people at the malls and stores, chasing family and friends away. Now I am a member of my company's profit sharing group, building a team, and achieving several awards (including being honored at our national convention this past January). All simply by duplicating what the top earners do.
Quite frankly its been great, but why stop there? I am now on to "phase two" of my plan. That is to build a massive team. A few weeks ago I did something so crazy, so insane that I still cant believe I had the opportunity (and the guts) to do this.
What I did allowed me to get my hands on a "tool" where I can duplicate the top earners more effectively. What I have gotten my hands on is so POWERFUL, I would love to keep it to myself.
I wont have to go out and "force prospect" everyday, chasing people, which quite frankly is no fun (if you've ever done network marketing before you know what I mean). I can spend 2 hours a day in my home or office, and add more partners to my opportunity than my wildest dreams. All I have to do is duplicate!
In the next month or so, I will reveal what this "tool" is to a few people, on a very exclusive webinar (I'm only going to limit it to 50-60 people), and what you can do to possibly make some money to do the things you want to do as well. I'm going to directly work with only about 5 people in the next month or two, and give them what I have stumbled into.
